My name is Mariana Bohorquez.

I’m an industrial designer with a background in furniture and graphic design, working at the intersection of form, function, and visual identity.

GUB Blenders

Gub Blenders reposition the blades to the top of the container to improve safety and simplify cleaning.

User studies showed a strong hesitation to place hands near conventional blade assemblies, making this a targeted solution to a real usability and safety issue.

The Hugo Chair

The Hugo Chair was developed through an exploration of soft curves, bringing warmth and to a rigid material.

The design balances structural integrity with expressive form, resulting in a chair that feels both sculptural and inviting.
